Angel Insights : The following exercise can help maximize or increase the energy of the angel realm in a space you regularly inhabit, as well as clear or reset the general energy of the space. It can be fun to do this exercise if you are moving into a new living space, or if the energy of your office or home feels negative or stagnant. If you perform this angel blessing on an office where there are a lot of other coworkers, it might be best to do it remotely. That way you respect the belief systems of your coworkers (perhaps they are not comfortable with the idea of angels). If you do the exercise remotely, simply picture yourself in the space performing the blessing instead of physically standing in the space as you go about this ritual. I like to perform this ritual with a sage stick. Burning herbs, such as frankincense, in spiritual ceremonies is an ancient practice that has been part of many cultures and spiritual traditions. There is something about smoke, mist, and steam that is mystical and reminds us of Spirit, perhaps because these things appear to magically exist somewhere between the elements of fire, earth, water, and air, just as Spirit seems to be both of this world and not of this world. Sage in particular is known as a purifying agent, used by the ancient Celtic druids and the indigenous people of the Amazon. You can buy sage sticks online or many places where incense is sold. Simply light one and let the smoke fill the space you are purifying. The smell of sage is pungent and distinctive but pleasant (in my opinion). If you can’t find a sage stick or don’t like the odor of sage, try using any incense stick made of natural herbs—not artificial, chemical perfumes. Using some sort of incense stick adds an element of ancient ritual to this angel blessing, which will increase your ability to be present during the ceremony. Remember, always be mentally alert and responsible when working with anything that must be lit and then put out.
