Angel of Compromise
Archangel Michael

The Archangel Michael represents opposing, standing up for what you believe in, fighting your corner and holding your own. It signifies taking the high road, maintaining control and being strong willed. This minor card also indicates someone who is protective, defensive, assertive, forceful, relentless, determined and territorial. It can suggest that you are under attack, being harassed, blamed or scapegoated but you are resisting. Life may be challenging, busy and hectic with this card in your spread so you will need stamina to endure.

Michael’s name translates from the Hebrew as ‘Look Like God’. He is the Archangel we invoke in our battle against negativity. He helps us find the light within ourselves. Historically he is the protector of both Israel and the Catholic Church. He is the patron saint of policemen, soldiers and small children and also watches over pilgrims and strangers. He is the fiery warrior, Prince of the Heavenly Armies, who fights for right and justice and gives guidance to all those who find themselves in dire straits. Michael is also the bringer of patience and happiness.

Angel of Compromise
Guardian Angel of Creativity

The Guardian Angel of Creativity is not always a good omen as it can represent defeat, change surrender and walking away. It is a minor card of self-sabotaging or underhanded behaviour and deception and lack of communication. It can also represent serious conflict, stress and lack of communication. The Guardian Angel of Creativity card comes with a warning as it can signify hostility, aggression, intimidation and violence and as such it can represent situations we would hope to never encounter in our lives such as crime, theft, bullying, abuse, assault, rape, murder. On the other hand, it may simply represent the action one must take to overcome being challenged by others such as standing up for oneself and fighting back. As such it can be an indication of victory. If so, the victory it represents will be hard won as you will have quite a battle on your hands.

This Guardian Angel watches over our creative gifts and helps us develop our self-expression. It is constantly presenting us with opportunities to expand our personal horizons. It encourages us to make the world a more beautiful and joyful place. This is the angel who stimulates our senses to see beautiful colours, devise fine designs, hear lovely music and read an abundant variety of good books. Creativity takes endless forms and this angel inspires us to express our joy of living in a loving and caring universe. Our creativity may find its form in the way we dress, the food we cook, the way we decorate our homes or plant our gardens. It may be expressed as painting, dance, music or writing. With our angel`s help we can be creative all the time.

This minor card represents clashing personalities or egos, pent up energy and aggression, irritation and frustration. You can expect a lack of cooperation, lack of control, pettiness, strikes, chaos or unruliness when it appears in your reading. It can also represent being rough, defensive or territorial and can signify competition and sports.

This angel helps us to make careful and wise decisions for our welfare and for the welfare of those in our care, whether we are supervisors, carers or parents. The Guardian Angel of Maturity helps and guides us to manage high degrees of responsibility for who we are or how we want our lives to be. It helps us when we feel that the weight of our choices may be too much for us to bear and supports us in finding the right answers to the perplexing issues which confront us in our work and in our relationships.

Angel of Compromise
Guardian Angel of Service

The Guardian Angel of Service represents unhappiness, heartache, sorrow and sadness. It is a minor card of grief, loss, depression and tears and when it appears in your reading it generally indicates a period of difficulty or hardship, usually on an emotional level. Distraction, conflict, disillusion and serious misunderstanding are all represented by this card so whatever situation it signifies will bring with it confusion, upset and upheaval. The Guardian Angel of Service also indicates depression, trauma, disorders, loneliness, absence and betrayal. You have suffered or will suffer a loss or betrayal of some kind when this card appears and not one that can easily be brushed over. You will be feeling this loss on a deep emotional level and you must give yourself time to process what has happened. Though it does represent hardship, this card is not all bad. The most difficult situations in our lives often teach us more about who we are and what we are capable of than the good times. Give yourself space and time to heal and learn all you can from the experience. If you need support, don’t be afraid to reach out to the people that love you.

This Guardian Angel looks after and blesses all those who serve; those people who have a feeling in their hearts that they would like to help make this earth a more peaceful and fruitful place for us all. For those who truly believe that what really matters is helping to get things right for the rest of us, this angel offers energy, inspiration, contacts and resources so that the jobs at hand can get done in the best possible way. These acts of service may come under the heading of civic or government work, or may be the warm gestures of love and care from volunteers, helpers or therapists. They may include simple personal favours from people who offer help; in fact, anyone who offers humane assistance in one form or another can be said to give service.
